Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a payroll support professional in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will provide direct payroll consulting to clients, manage relationships under supervision, and escalate issues for prompt resolution.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate payroll data, processing payrolls on time, calculating bonuses or severance, and reviewing federal/state tax calculations. Strong ADP, Outlook, and Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients.
• Understand payroll in depth and stay updated on payroll laws to advise clients.
• Manage client relationships independently under supervision.
• Escalate issues when needed for prompt resolution.
• Ensure client payroll information is accurate in their payroll system.
• Process payrolls timely, update records, calculate bonuses or severance, review tax calculations, reconcile deposits and withholdings.
