Baker Tilly is seeking a Payroll Specialist to provide direct payroll client support and consulting. You will manage client relationships under supervision, ensuring accurate payroll processing, tax calculations, and timely reporting to meet client deadlines.

The role requires handling confidential data, using ADP software, Outlook, and MS Office, and delivering exceptional client service in a deadline-driven environment across multiple clients.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients.
• Ensure payroll information is accurate within payroll systems and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payrolls timely, update records, and reconcile payroll deposits and withholdings.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions.
• Establish trusted client relationships and maintain confidentiality of data.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; provide technical software support.
• Identify out-of-scope work and potential opportunities to expand services.
• Support implementation projects and train clients on payroll processes.
• Mentor and support new hires and share knowledge with colleagues.
