Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a payroll professional in the United States to manage client payroll processing and deliverables. You will support implementation projects, train clients, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring data confidentiality and compliance.

The role requires payroll experience, ADP RUN expertise, and proficiency in MS Office and Outlook. You will work in a deadline-driven environment serving multiple clients with a focus on accuracy and service

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and/or process payrolls to meet client deadlines including updating employee records and calculating bonuses or severance.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions.
• Establish strong client relationships and maintain confidentiality of employee data.
• Provide technical software support to clients and identify out-of-scope work.
• Identify opportunities to expand services to clients.
• Be an additional resource to the implementation team when needed.
• Interview clients to understand payroll needs and manage new client implementations.
• Train clients on payroll processes as necessary.
• Mentor new hires and share knowledge with the team.
• Stay current on local, state, and federal payroll practices.
