Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Support Specialist to provide direct payroll client support and act as a trusted consultant on payroll processes. You will manage client relationships, escalate issues when needed, and ensure accurate payroll processing under supervision.

Responsibilities include handling client payroll data, producing reports, and supporting implementation teams while staying current on payroll laws and ADP platforms.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct payroll client support under the supervision of the Payroll Supervisor.
• Independently manage client relationships and escalate issues for prompt resolution when needed.
• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer’s contributions.
• Establish strong, trusted client relationships and consult on payroll matters.
• Train clients on payroll processes and explain technical software as needed.
• Support implementation teams and assist with client onboarding when required.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and stay updated on payroll laws and ADP platforms.
