Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a payroll support professional to provide direct client service and advisory on payroll processes. You will learn payroll practices, manage client relationships, and ensure accurate payroll data while meeting tight deadlines.

Under the Payroll Supervisor, you will handle client inquiries, train clients on payroll procedures, and identify opportunities to expand services. Strong ADP knowledge and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct payroll client support and consulting.
• Understand payroll in depth and maintain knowledge of payroll practices and laws.
• Independently manage client relationships under supervision, escalating issues when needed.
• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system.
• Review and process payrolls to meet client deadlines and reconcile payroll deposits.
