Jobot is seeking a dynamic Payroll Specialist to join our Plano team, delivering accurate, on-time multi-state payroll processing for diverse client portfolios. The role emphasizes compliance, data integrity, and responsive employee support.

You’ll manage weekly to monthly payroll cycles, collaborate with HR and finance, and uphold our standards for accuracy and customer service in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll, preferably consulting or professional services.
• Auditing and compliance experience in payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical aptitude and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field preferred.
• CPP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws is a plus.

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Consulting Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, an understanding of the complexities of payroll systems, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy. As a Consulting Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing all aspects of the payroll process for our clients. Responsibilities

• Manage and process multiple client payrolls on a weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis.
• Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities.
• Develop, manage and maintain comprehensive payroll records.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
• Audit payroll data for accuracy to ensure the integrity of the payroll data including, but not limited to, timesheets, benefit deductions, job rates, etc.
• Provide timely and accurate customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
• Collaborate with the human resources department and finance team to ensure correct employee data.
• Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, and auditors.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll position, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Proven experience with auditing and compliance in payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong numerical aptitude and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws is a plus.
