Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Albuquerque, NM to manage weekly and biweekly payroll across multiple departments. You will ensure accurate wages, overtime, and deductions while maintaining compliant payroll records and addressing employee inquiries.

The role requires 2+ years of payroll experience, familiarity with ADP or Paychex, and a detail-oriented, confidential approach to sensitive information. This is a full-time position with company support and clear development potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll for employees across multiple departments.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with payroll tax filings and reporting.
• Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting on employee changes and reporting needs.
• Support audits and maintain proper documentation.
