Oaks Integrated Care in Mt Holly, NJ is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our nonprofit administrative team. The role supports biweekly payroll for approximately 2000 staff and handles data entry, benefits enrollment, and garnishments.

This position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration within a Fish! Philosophy team. The pay is $16.75 per hour, with opportunities for professional licensure supervision and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and/or payroll experience required.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Employee maintenance and records management.
• Scan and upload employee maintenance documents.
• Enter and verify new hire documentation.
• Assist with biweekly payroll for ~2000 staff.
• Handle employee payroll questions by phone.
• Process employee reimbursements.
• Enter garnishments in UltiPro.
• Back up Payroll Specialist as needed.
• Support special payroll projects as assigned.
• Explain benefits such as medical, dental, and vision plans.

As the Payroll Specialist, you will work within our payroll department located in Mt. Holly, Burlington County NJ.

The potential employee must meet data entry deadlines; ability to demonstrate a high level of organization skills in addition to maintaining agency confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Employee maintenance
• Scan and upload employee completed maintenance
• Enter and verify new hire documentation
• Assist with biweekly payroll (approx. 2000 staff)
• Assist with employee phone call with questions
• Employee reimbursements
• Entering garnishments into UltiPro
• Back up to Payroll Specialist
• Special projects as assigned by Payroll Manager

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree and/or payroll experience required;
• Experience working with Ulti-Pro Software preferred;
• Must have very strong Excel and Microsoft Office Skills
• Valid Driver's License.
