Job summary

Weisman Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital in Marlton, NJ is recruiting a Full-Time Payroll Administrator to join our pediatric care team. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, manages timekeeping records, and coordinates with HR for hires, terminations and changes.

The position supports compliance with federal and state regulations, maintains confidentiality, and leads payroll audits, benefit invoicing, and system enhancements to improve workflow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years payroll experience preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office products.
  • Strong technological skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer end-to-end payroll for staff using current HRIS system.
  • Manage timekeeping records and payroll checks and related processes.
  • Coordinate with HR and managers for hires, terminations, and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and confidentiality.

  • Assist with training and policy guidance for leadership.
  • Stay current with payroll laws and implement changes as needed.
  • Support ACA compliance and cross-functional payroll projects.

We are recruiting for a Full-Time Payroll Administrator tojoin our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Marlton, NJ. This position is benefit eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Payroll Coordinator in a long-term care facility is responsible forensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This roleinvolves managing timekeeping records, coordinating with HR and departmentmanagers, ensuing compliance standards within state and federal regulations,and maintaining confidentiality. The position plays a critical role insupporting staff satisfaction and retention by ensuing timely and accuratecompensation.

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer end-to-end payroll for staff through Payroll ProcessingSystem, using current HRIS system
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes payroll checks, pay stubs and otherprocesses related to
  • Ensure accurate payroll data through collaboration with leadership on newhires, terminations, and changes
  • Communicate with company leadership to ensure accuracy and integrity ofthe payroll data including new hires, terminations, changes, and assist withany updates/corrections, as necessary
  • Resolve payroll-related employee and manager inquiries, including PTO,taxes, garnishments, and direct deposits
  • Maintain payroll records, generate required reports and conduct payrollaudits
  • Conduct payroll orientation for new hires, including time clock trainingand management
  • Train and advise leadership on payroll policies and best practices
  • Handle wage verifications
  • Stay current with federal and state payroll regulations and implementchanges as needed.
  • Lead various payroll projects and system enhancements, contributing tocross functional initiative and continuous improvement efforts
  • Reconcile benefit invoices
  • Collaborate with NJ division Payroll Coordinators to improve workflowsand provide backup support when needed
  • Maintain ACA compliance
  • Support the Human Resources Department in projects as assigned by theHuman Resources Manager
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitivepayroll and employee information
  • Perform additional duties as needed in support of department andorganizational goals
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degreepreferred or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of 3 years ofrelevant payroll experience preferred
  • Experience in ahealthcare environment preferred
  • Proficient inMicrosoft Excel and Office Products
  • Strong technologicalskills
