Ensure payroll accuracy for various workflows, including new hires, terminations, position changes, and equity adjustments. Ensure timely completion of all payroll processes, meeting compliance standards. Complete year-end processes according to established internal guidelines and ensure filing is done before government deadlines.

Safeguard personal information (PII) and maintain strict confidentiality while adhering to internal controls. Stay informed about legal and regulatory changes to ensure payroll compliance is maintained at all times.
  • Collaborative Team Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and leadership, to ensure smooth payroll operations. Contribute to process improvements and offer recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. Participate in ad-hoc payroll projects and help implement strategic process enhancements.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll workflows and implement automation or technology solutions to improve efficiency. Keep up to date with the latest payroll technology trends, and assist in evaluating and adopting new tools within the Dayforce HCM system to improve payroll reporting and processing.
Skills and experience we value

  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential, though proficient Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) are preferred. Experience with basic configuration or customization in payroll software or HRIS systems is an asset, demonstrating a strong ability to adapt to new technologies and tools. Dayforce HCM experience preferred.
