Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• 1–3 years payroll data entry, customer service or office admin experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service oriented with professionalism and patience
• Ability to explain technical/software information clearly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Enter, update and maintain payroll data accurately within payroll software
• Configure software database
• Review data for completeness, accuracy and compliance
• Process client payroll information and identify missing or inconsistent data
• Receive, prioritize and respond to client issues, questions and software requests
• Troubleshoot basic payroll software issues
• Maintain detailed records of client communications, status and resolutions
• Conduct software demonstrations and assist clients with system setup
• Perform clerical duties including filing, scanning, data organization
• Assist with data audits, quality control and testing activities
• Protect confidential payroll information and collaborate with internal teams
• Perform other related duties as assigned
