Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HR & Finance Assistant in Richmond, MI to own hourly payroll, support onboarding, and manage procure-to-pay processes for a manufacturing team. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will coordinate benefits, attendance, and labor reporting while partnering with the HR Manager to drive engagement and smooth operations on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience is required.
• 4–6 years across accounting, finance, HR, payroll or administration preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Own hourly payroll processing and daily labor hour tracking.
• Support onboarding, benefits administration and attendance tracking.
• Assist purchasing and payables, create purchase orders, and reconcile supplier statements.
• Prepare regular reports and assist with month-end close.
• Maintain vendor accounts and manage multiple priorities with discretion.
