Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years in payroll operations or related HR/finance disciplines
• Ability to work with confidential employee data and maintain privacy standards
• Experience documenting actions in an organized, auditable manner
• Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and operational tools (trackers, logs, report reconciliation)

Responsibilities

• Validate payroll data and resolve routine exceptions
• Prepare termination reports, calculate final pay, PTO, deductions, and reconciling pay components
• Monitor timekeeping exceptions and notify managers of discrepancies
• Triage, resolve, and document standard payroll inquiries using knowledge articles
• Maintain payroll trackers and supporting documentation for audit readiness
• Process IC-related activities using approved formulas and system inputs
• Assist with stop pay and returned check processing per procedures
