Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Payroll Manager in Indianapolis, IN to oversee end-to-end payroll operations for field and corporate staff. The role ensures accurate, timely processing and strict compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations in a multi-state construction environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years in accounting or finance with construction payroll experience, including prevailing wage and union payroll knowledge. On-site, permanent position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• 3-5 years of experience within the construction industry.
• Union experience is strongly preferred.

Next generational construction company seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our talented team!

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the company’s end-to-end payroll operations for a growing construction organization. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for field and corporate employees while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

The ideal candidate has strong payroll experience within the construction industry, including familiarity with hourly employees, prevailing wage requirements, certified payroll, union/non-union payroll, job costing, and multi-state payroll.
