Homebase is seeking a Project Lead to own the onboarding and implementation of Homebase Payroll for small businesses in the Denver area. You will guide customers from kickoff through their first payroll, partnering with an Onboarding Implementation Specialist on technical tasks.

You’ll collect complex client data, train customers, answer payroll questions, and work with Sales to remove blockers. Strong Excel skills, Salesforce experience, and clear communication are essential, as is a bias for

Qualifications

• 3+ years in implementation, onboarding, payroll, or SaaS project management.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets for data cleanup and reconciliation.
• Hands-on CRM experience, especially Salesforce.
• Ability to translate payroll concepts clearly to customers and teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independence.
• Comfort with state-by-state payroll regulations.
• Metrics-driven with ownership and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll implementation from kickoff to first payroll.
• Collect and reconcile complex customer data.
• Train customers on Homebase Payroll.
• Investigate payroll questions and troubleshoot.
• Collaborate with Sales to address blockers.
• Surface product feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Maintain records in Salesforce.
• Collaborate in-office Monday through Thursday.
