Job summary

Janko Hospitality, Rosemont, IL, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a 5-month temporary role (Aug 2026–Jan 2027). You will manage bi-weekly payroll, leave administration, and regulatory compliance under the HR Manager and VP of HR, supporting onboarding and workplace safety initiatives.

The role requires payroll experience, multi-state tax knowledge, and strong MS Office skills; hospitality background is a plus, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of payroll processing experience; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Hospitality or hotel industry experience is a plus.
• Familiar with FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and workers' compensation laws.
• Strong Excel skills for payroll reconciliation and reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on schedule.
• Administer Leaves of Absence and ADA accommodations.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure tax compliance.
• Support OSHA compliance and workers’ compensation processes.
• Keep payroll and HR information confidential; assist HR leadership.
