Job summary

Janko Hospitality in Rosemont, IL is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Coordinator to support bi-weekly payroll processing, leave administration, and HR procedures. You will be a key contact for payroll, leaves, onboarding, and disciplinary guidance within the HR team.

The 5-month role runs Aug 2026 through Jan 2027, offering a competitive compensation package and full benefits, including 401K with matching and PTO. Hotel discounts and growth opportunities are also provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years payroll experience, preferably with ADP Workforce Now; hospitality experience a plus.
• Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, OSHA and workers’ compensation reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, esp. Excel for payroll reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now and maintain records.
• Ensure tax withholding compliance across multi-state payrolls.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and payroll/timekeeping system overview.
• Administer Leaves of Absence (FMLA/ADA) and maintain documentation.
• Support OSHA compliance and workers’ compensation processes.
