Job summary

Allegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team at our Clear Lake headquarters near NASA. This in-office role focuses on payroll processing, HRIS maintenance, and pre-employment activities for our multi-state workforce.

You will handle weekly payroll for 500+ employees in ADP Workforce Now, maintain records, coordinate background checks, onboarding, and 401k contributions, while delivering strong internal customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience using ADP Workforce Now.
• Minimum 1 year of payroll experience.
• Positive demeanor and strong internal customer service.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Must work in the office 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ team members using ADP Workforce Now.
• Maintain payroll records and personnel files.
• Maintain HRIS with accurate team member information.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities with branch offices; monitor background checks and drug testing.
• Process new hire onboarding in ADP Workforce Now.
• Submit 401k contributions weekly to 401k provider.
• Provide HR department support as needed.
