Job summary

Allegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our HR team at the Clear Lake headquarters. The role focuses on payroll processing, HRIS maintenance, onboarding, and benefits administration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now, maintaining records, coordinating pre-employment activities, and assisting with 401(k) contributions and onboarding tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weekly, multi-state payroll processing for 500+ team members using ADP Workforce Now.
• Maintain all payroll records in payroll and personnel files.
• Maintain HRIS with accurate team member information (new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, withholding orders).
• Coordinate pre-employment activities with branch offices; monitor background checks and drug testing statuses and communicate with branches.
• Process new hire onboarding in ADP Workforce Now.
• Submit 401k contributions weekly to the 401k provider.
• Perform other HR department support functions as needed.

HR Payroll Coordinator Essential Responsibilities

• Weekly, multi-state payroll processing for 500+ team members using ADP Workforce Now
• Maintain all payroll records in payroll files and/or personnel files
• Maintain HRIS with accurate team member information. i.e. new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, withholding orders, etc
• Coordinate pre-employment activities with our branch offices for all new hires. Monitor the status of background checks & drug testing and communicate the status with the branches
• Process new hire onboarding in ADP Workforce Now
• Submit 401k contributions weekly to 401k provider
• Perform other support functions for the HR department as needed

Requirements

• Min 1 year experience using ADP Workforce Now. HRB and Time & Attendance preferred
• Min 1 year of experience processing payroll|>
