Stevens Engineers & Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Payroll Generalist to join the Cleveland Operations payroll team. You will support the Payroll Specialist, process timesheets, and handle new hire paperwork with meticulous attention to detail.

The role requires strong finance knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software is essential.

• Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and become familiar with payroll software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Uploading and processing of daily field timesheets.
• Assist in processing payroll information (e.g., new hires, re-hires, address changes, changes to tax withholdings).
• Assemble and provide new hire packets for job sites.
• E-Verify all new employees and re-hires.
• Collect and file new hire documents.
• Assist in obtaining updated rate sheets and reporting forms from locals.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
• Maintaining confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
