Stivers in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our on-site team. This full-time role offers a pay rate of $25.00–$26.00 per hour and an ASAP start date, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will coordinate payroll across multiple states, review timesheets and deductions, ensure tax compliance, and maintain accurate employee records while collaborating with internal teams to deliver reliable financial services to clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of high-volume payroll processing or payroll administration experience.
• Experience with ADP, Paychex, or similar payroll platforms, along with Excel.
• Solid understanding of payroll taxes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• On-site, full-time role with standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for employees across multiple states while meeting deadlines and accuracy standards.
• Review timesheets, earnings, deductions, commissions, bonuses, and tax information for completeness and accuracy.
• Apply applicable federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records and handle client-specific benefits, garnishments, deductions, and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate payroll, billing, and related administrative activities.
