Job summary

WSB in Oklahoma City is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support day-to-day payroll operations, including new hire setup, timesheet review, and data maintenance. This entry-level role collaborates with the Payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate, timely pay for staff.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of payroll or administrative experience, familiarity with Deltek preferred, and strong attention to detail. Office-based with potential onsite work and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of payroll, accounting, or administrative experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Experience with Deltek or HRIS systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Office-based role with possible onsite work up to five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Set up new hire records in Deltek and send setup emails.
• Process direct deposit updates and changes for employees.
• Generate and distribute iReports for payroll and management reporting.
• Review timesheets for accuracy and completeness; manage timesheet-related emails.
• Use AI tools to complete weekly timesheet audits.
• Oversee timesheet approval and posting of timesheets.
• Respond to and resolve timesheet tickets.
• Audit and update employee allowances weekly.
• Enter PTO for future pay periods.
• Update employee records as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
