Qualifications

• Five years of payroll experience in a multi-location, multi-state environment.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or business preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience using electronic payroll systems and data imports/exports.
• Paycom and/or Profit Zoom experience preferred.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal payroll laws.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process weekly payroll and related tasks.
• Enter and validate pay rates and payroll information in Paycom and Profit Zoom.
• Review timecards, approvals, and policies for accuracy.
• Verify payroll data before imports/exports and review reports.
• Coordinate with field staff and managers to resolve payroll questions.
• Process paid time off, on-call pay, stipends, and certified payroll.
• Generate payroll reports and ensure system updates for new hires.
