Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to process payroll for 2,800+ employees across multiple states. This on-site role is based at our Charlotte, NC office and emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and customer-focused support to employees.

You will manage several pay groups, payroll tax reviews, and reporting, while collaborating with HR, Accounting, and Tax to ensure data integrity. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of multi-state payroll experience and a Bachelor's degree in Finance,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or comparable experience.
• Experience with payroll tax at federal, state, and local levels.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Process full cycle payroll for multiple pay groups on weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly schedules.
• Provide reports and ad-hoc data requests to Accounting, HR, Tax, and Finance.
• Ensure accurate processing of new hires, changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations in payroll system.
• Support Management and employees as customers and liaise with HR/Accounting.
• Review and improve payroll, benefits, and tax procedures for best-practice operations.
