Qualifications

• Must be able to perform payroll functions within two months of employment after training.
• Strong math and logic skills including algebraic reasoning.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, Outlook skills (learn formulas, vlookups, pivot tables).
• English communication in a business environment; Spanish speaking ability required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll processing (time and attendance).
• Handle system entries for new hires, terminations, status changes, and deductions (child support, garnishments, tax levies).
• Prepare spreadsheets for payroll review and audit bi-weekly closing files.
• Complete verification of employment requests and payroll histories as needed.
