Job summary

NextPath Workforce Solutions is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid contract role focused on accurate payroll processing and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience with UKG Pro and Oracle, strong payroll knowledge, and ability to pass background checks and drug screens. Compensation is $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and wage and hour laws.
• Background check and drug screen clearance required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review employee timesheets and payroll data to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Verify the accuracy of UKG WFM data entries.
• Ensure data integrity during payroll processing and integration.
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, making necessary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions.
• Address discrepancies or issues during payroll processing.
• Verify payroll outputs for accuracy, including tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions.
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payroll-related concerns.
• Collaborate with the payroll team to document current processes and identify gaps.
• Implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid, contract.

SALARY: $20-$22 hr (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to pass a background check of several years to receive an airport badge
• Ability to pass a drug screen prior to start date and at random during employment
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or accounting is a plus
• Experience in payroll processing, preferably with Oracle and UKG Pro systems
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and wage and hour laws

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and review employee timesheets and payroll data to identify errors or inconsistencies
• Verify the accuracy of UKG WFM data entries
• Ensure data integrity during payroll processing and integration
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, making necessary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions
• Address discrepancies or issues during payroll processing

• Collaborate with the payroll team to document current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
• Implement process enhancements to increase accuracy and efficiency
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed
• Assist with audits and provide documentation upon request
