Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is hiring for a Payroll Specialist based onsite in Bothell, WA. You will review, validate, and manage employee timekeeping data to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across the organization.

You will maintain employee records, support I-9 and E-Verify, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve payroll issues while upholding data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, and compliance processes with the ability to manage detailed information accurately.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
• Skilled at building partnerships and providing guidance to supervisors and employees on payroll-related matters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems, with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication, problem solving, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by reviewing, validating, and managing employee timekeeping data.
• Maintain employee records and process personnel changes while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and confidentiality.
• Support I-9 and E-Verify activities and help drive compliance with employment and payroll requirements.
• Partner with supervisors and operational leaders to resolve payroll issues and improve process consistency.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to employee and manager payroll inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
