LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an established Bellevue-based employer to hire a Payroll Specialist. The role requires strong knowledge of prevailing wage processes and at least five years of payroll experience, with coordination across departments and responsive employee inquiries.

The position is fully onsite in Bellevue, WA with a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive benefits, and a collaborative team focused on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of payroll experience required.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll and prevailing wage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, payroll accounting, and employment law compliance.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly, multi-state payroll for employees.
• Administer prevailing wage payroll, including certified payroll reporting, wage determinations, fringe benefits, compliance tracking, and audits.
• Maintain payroll records, general ledger accuracy, and employee payroll data.
• Handle garnishments, reimbursement payments, benefit deductions, and 401(k) administration.
• Perform payroll audits, generate reports, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and onboarding.
• Assist with HR compliance, employee relations, and process improvements.
