LHH US seeks a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to process weekly payroll for about 200 employees across two locations. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, maintains employee payroll records, and supports payroll-related reporting and compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, handle confidential information securely, and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience processing payroll for multi-location operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll practices, tax withholdings, and payroll regulations.
• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees across two locations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Review and verify employee timecards, attendance records, and payroll-related data.
• Enter payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, deductions, reimbursements, and garnishments.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update information as needed.
• Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, benefits, and payroll policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Reconcile payroll reports and assist with payroll audits as required.
• Prepare payroll-related reports for management and accounting purposes.
• Coordinate with Human Resources regarding new hires, terminations, and employee status changes.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties as needed.
