Job summary

MediLodge of Capital Area is seeking a Payroll Benefits Coordinator to manage payroll administration for the facility. The role requires accurate processing, adherence to federal, state and local pay rules, and collaboration with HR for benefits and timekeeping.

Two years payroll or HR experience preferred; high school diploma; knowledge of payroll software; strong communication and confidentiality skills. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in payroll or human resources.
• Knowledge of computerized payroll and bookkeeping systems.
• High school diploma; accounting or business courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll in compliance with federal/state/facility/regional pay guidelines.
• Ensure pay practices are documented; monitor pay rates and merit increases.
• Coordinate PIB (pay-in-lieu of benefits) with other benefit plans.
• Post state and federal posters as required by law.
• Maintain HRIS with accurate employee information (SSN, job title, FLSA status).
• Review time and attendance for accuracy; make corrections as needed.
• Back up to SDC for WOTC compliance and to HR Coordinator as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
