Job summary

Stevens & Lee, Reading, PA, is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Clerk to assist the Payroll Manager with processing payroll, administering our payroll software, and maintaining accurate records. The role includes benefits tasks, audit support, and workflow improvements in a finance-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a compatible degree. Ceridian/Dayforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience required (3–5 years).
• Proficiency in Excel is essential.
• College degree in a related field preferred.
• Prior Ceridian/Dayforce experience ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing and payroll system administration.
• Maintain accurate payroll records.
• Assist with employee benefits-related tasks.
• Support internal and external audits and streamline workflows.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and coordinate with third-party providers.
• Collaborate with the Finance team on special projects.
