Everstand, a private nonprofit delivering education, mental health, and residential services in the Mid-Atlantic, seeks an Accountant Payroll and Benefits Specialist in Baltimore, MD. This full-time role handles payroll processing, benefits administration, and related financial activities in Sage and ADP, with collaboration across HR and finance.

You will administer health and retirement plans, ensure ACA reporting, and maintain payroll records and journal entries.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and financial reporting.
• Experience with payroll and financial software; ADP and Sage preferred.
• Experience with 403(b) retirement plans and employee benefits preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process payroll accurately and on time in compliance with regulations.
• Administer health benefits and coordinate with broker.
• Support retirement programs and 403(b) compliance.
• Prepare payroll journal entries in Sage (GL, cost centers, grants).
• Collaborate with HR and finance on payroll issues.
