Job summary

Rocketdyne is seeking a Payroll Accountant to ensure accurate payroll accounting and timely financial reporting. You will post ADP payroll files to the general ledger, reconcile payroll and benefits balance sheet accounts, and support close activities in collaboration with Payroll, HR, and Accounting teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of accounting experience, with preference for payroll or benefits exposure and ADP familiarity.

• Experience with ADP payroll systems and general ledger posting.

Responsibilities

• Manage benefit billing processes, including monthly invoice reconciliation and coordination with HR and vendors.

• Maintain payroll accounting policies and procedures.
• Partner with Payroll Manager and HR to ensure accurate payroll accounting.

Job description

The Payroll Accountant is responsible for the accounting and reconciliation activities related to payroll.
