Job summary

MyCloudBook is seeking a payroll specialist to run monthly payrolls, manage benefits and overtime, and ensure accurate social security contributions and tax filings while keeping employee records confidential. You will work with the product team to define payroll feature requirements and help-scale the platform.

Requirements include 3+ years payroll experience, strong knowledge of labour law and payroll taxes, and proficiency with Excel and common payroll systems like QuickBooks, Xero, or

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience with related accounting entries.
• Strong knowledge of labour law and payroll taxes.
• Experience with a payroll system and with Excel.
• Experience with other accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo or Oracle NetSuite.
• Experience with the MyCloudBook platform. A free trial account is enough to learn it before you apply.
• Discretion, accuracy and respect for deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process the monthly payroll: salaries, benefits, overtime, absences and final settlements.
• Calculate and file the social security contributions and the payroll taxes on time.
• Post the payroll journals and reconcile the payroll accounts with the general ledger.
• Keep employee records, contracts and payroll documents complete and confidential.
• Define the requirements of the payroll and expense claim features with the product team.
