Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose seeks a Payroll Analyst to deliver accurate, timely payroll for U.S. employee populations, including union sites.

You will partner with HR, Accounting, and site leadership to ensure compliant, controlled processing across cycles and resolve employee pay inquiries with discretion and clarity. The role requires 3–5 years of full-payroll experience in a multi-site environment, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Workday/ADP/UKG platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPP or FPC certification is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of progressive payroll experience in multi-state environments.
• Experience with union payroll and collective bargaining provisions is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process multi-state, multi-entity payroll cycles for salaried, hourly, and union populations.
• Audit payroll records and manage hires, terminations, pay-rate changes, and deductions.
• Administer benefits, 401(k), HSA/FSA, and leave programs.
• Serve as first contact for pay inquiries and resolve issues.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with FLSA and state wage regulations.
• Prepare tax filings, W-2s, and year-end reports.
• Reconcile payroll to GL and prepare journal entries.
• Identify process improvements to reduce manual effort.
