Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose is hiring a Payroll Analyst to support the U.S. employee population, including union locations. You will own recurring payroll cycles, reconcile data, and resolve employee pay inquiries with a high standard of confidentiality.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will help safeguard payroll accuracy, maintain regulatory compliance, and strengthen controls behind employee pay while collaborating with HR, Accounting, and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or related field.
• CPP/FPC certification advantageous.
• 3–5 years of progressive payroll experience in multi-state environments.
• Experience processing union payroll and CBAs required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state, multi-entity payroll cycles for salaried, hourly, and union populations.
• Maintain and audit payroll records including hires, terminations, rate changes, taxes, and garnishments.
• Administer deductions and employer contributions for benefits and retirement plans.
• Serve as first point of contact for pay inquiries with confidentiality and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage & hour regulations; handle tax withholdings and year-end reporting.
• Reconcile payroll registers to the general ledger and prepare journal entries and reports.
