Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join its U.S. payroll team. The role supports accurate, compliant, and timely payroll across multiple states, with an onsite four days per week schedule and remote Fridays.

You will manage records, timesheets, equity-related payroll, bonuses, year-end processing, and audits, using Oracle Fusion Payroll and advanced Excel to analyze pay scenarios while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating across HR, Finance, and external providers.

Qualifications

• CPP or FPC certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of multi-state payroll experience.
• Experience with equity-related payroll transactions is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience with global payroll considerations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly or bi-weekly payrolls for exempt and non-exempt employees across multiple states.
• Maintain employee payroll records (new hires, terminations, tax updates, deductions, direct deposits, status changes).
• Review timesheets, adjustments, retroactive payments, and special payroll transactions.
• Generate and distribute employee payments.
• Support payroll reconciliations and reporting for internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Assist with payroll activities related to equity compensation (RSU vesting, stock option exercises).
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate taxation and reporting of equity-related payroll impacts.
• Support bonus cycles, annual salary adjustments, and year-end payroll processing.
• Analyze complex pay scenarios, investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Process garnishments and other legally required deductions.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion Payroll and participate in testing, enhancements, and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and audits.
• Build relationships across HR, Finance, Accounting, Payroll Tax, and external vendors.
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
