Devoted Health is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own core parts of the payroll function in a fast-paced finance team. You will handle bi-weekly processing in Workday, multi-jurisdiction tax compliance, and customer-facing payroll support across the company.

You will verify timesheets, run payroll, prepare reports for audits, and set up new state/local tax jurisdictions. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing, tax filings and adjustments.
• Bi-weekly payroll processing across multiple states in Workday with multi-state tax compliance.
• Experience with ADP SmartCompliance for tax filings and garnishments.
• Strong knowledge of US federal, state and local withholding tax.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and large data sets.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing and data validation across systems.
• Serve as the payroll face for employees; address questions with accuracy and courtesy.
• Verify timesheets and HR submissions before payroll runs.
• Prepare payroll reports for annual audits and management needs.
• Set up new tax jurisdictions in Workday; ensure accurate state/local compliance.
• Administer garnishments in ADP SmartCompliance; coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Support offshore team members and provide training for payroll activities.
• Partner with People team on payroll reporting and employee needs.
