Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a payroll professional to join the payroll shared services team. The role supports all functional areas of payroll and collaborates with Payroll Managers and regional teams to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will handle tax setup, withholdings, garnishments, reporting, year-end activities, and system enhancements, while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring timely payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in bookkeeping, accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of payroll experience in a multi-entity, multi-state environment.
• Experience with payroll tax and FLSA compliance preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support all payroll functions and ensure accuracy across regions.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations and payroll tax standards.
• Collaborate with Payroll Managers and internal departments for audits and procedures.
• Balance payroll tax information and complete multi-state tax reporting.
• Assist with quarter-year end activities and system enhancements.
• Ensure confidentiality of payroll and HR information.
