Job summary

Trinity Health in the United States seeks a payroll professional to join the payroll shared services team. You will support all payroll functions across regions, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintain confidentiality of payroll and HR data.

You will balance tax information, support audits, and participate in system enhancements and policy implementations while collaborating with Payroll Managers and internal departments to ensure accurate processing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in bookkeeping, accounting or related field with 3–5 years payroll experience in multi-entity/multi-state environments.
• Experience with payroll tax, withholdings, wage and hour issues, and internal controls.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; detail oriented with meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Workday, Kronos and ADP tax services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor payroll functions including tax setup/withholding, banking, garnishments and general processing.
• Support relationships with vendors and Trinity Health departments for audits and procedure implementation.
• Review and balance payroll tax information; prepare tax reports across multiple states.
• Ensure payroll cycle processing, including tax, benefits, and banking, is accurate and timely.
• Assist in quarter end and year end payroll activities and audits.
• Load EIBs for employment record adjustments and support payroll production.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and HR information.
• Participate in special projects related to system enhancements and policy implementation.
