Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our payroll shared services team. This full-time role supports all functional areas of payroll, collaborates with Payroll Managers and Representatives from Regional Health Ministries, and ensures accurate processing and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key responsibilities include tax setup and withholding, garnishments, and end-to-end payroll cycles across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in bookkeeping, accounting or related field; 3–5 years payroll experience.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-state payroll processing.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Workday, Kronos timekeeping, and ADP tax services preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately across multiple entities and states.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for audits and procedures.
• Prepare payroll tax reports and payments in a multi-state environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and HR information.
