Job summary

Esler Companies LLC seeks an experienced payroll professional to manage and process payroll and benefits activities. You will collect data, enter new hires, update records, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts. The role requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is preferred. This position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience, 3-5 years, preferably with ADP.
• Strong data entry and accuracy.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data including new hire entry.
• Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverages, job titles and department transfers.
• Assisting in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Process 2 weekly payrolls utilizing ADP, process submission of 401k contributions and matches, posting payroll and related journal entries.
• Reconcile all Employee Benefit bills from insurance companies and process for payment.
• Accounts Payable - completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
• Assist accounting office as needed.
