Job summary

Shift4 is seeking a Payments Support Associate to provide frontline support for Shift4 products and services, including Customer Hub, UTG, Shift4 One, and POS integrations. You will assist customers with troubleshooting, website navigation, statements, contracts, payments, and POS issues while collaborating with resellers, partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or tech support experience preferred.
Demonstrates strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to explain technical concepts clearly and simply; collaborative attitude; quick learner.

Responsibilities

Provide customer support via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
Assist customers with website navigation, statements, contracts, payments, and POS issues.
Troubleshoot credit card, gift card, and POS processing issues.
Collaborate with resellers, partners, and internal teams to resolve integration problems.
Track and document support interactions with clear records.
Stay up-to-date on software updates, product changes and company policies.
Manage multiple support tasks across channels; participate in team meetings.
Support 24/7 operations with flexible work hours.
