Job summary

Talently is seeking a product leader to own and evolve the Payments Platform, defining the vision, roadmap, and architecture that power the transaction lifecycle.

You will drive pricing strategies, limits, incentives, and experiments across customers and partners, and own the decisioning and routing engine to optimize cost, availability, and risk. Collaborate with banks, processors, and fraud partners to ensure robust integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with backend/platform ownership experience.
• Significant Payments domain experience: pricing, rules engines, decision systems, or integrations.
• Background in fintech, payments, remittances, or financial infrastructure.
• Comfort with complex systems, edge cases, and trade-offs.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to reason about unit economics, risk, and scalability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate business needs into clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, roadmap, and product architecture for the payments platform powering the transaction lifecycle.
• Own pricing, limits, credits, rewards, discounts, and experiments across customers, amounts, corridors, and partners.
• Own the decisioning and routing engine that selects processors, payout networks, and rails, ensuring transparency and auditable decisions.
• Lead provider integrations with payment processors, banks, MTOs, payout networks, and fraud providers, including data contracts, state management, retries, and reconciliation.
