Job summary

Talently in New York City is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a major product area spanning payments, account services, platform reliability, and customer security. This hybrid NYC-based role focuses on delivering trusted experiences for moving funds in collaboration with engineering, risk, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex customer-facing or platform products.
• Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, transaction products, account management, fraud, security, or another regulated product environment.
• Strong understanding of how customer experiences connect to the underlying systems, partners, and operational processes required to support them.
• Experience working with Engineering on APIs, platform architecture, data flows, reliability, and third-party integrations.
• AI fluency and interest in using modern AI tools thoughtfully in product work.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and execution across payments, account services, and related platform capabilities.
• Improve the end-to-end customer experience for receiving, sending, storing, and managing funds.
• Lead product work across transfer experiences, payment workflows, account controls, and connected financial services.
• Partner with Engineering on the systems and infrastructure that support reliable, scalable transaction experiences.
• Drive initiatives related to account security, authentication, fraud prevention, and customer trust.
• Work with financial-institution partners, payment providers, and other third parties to launch and improve products.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Security, and Operations to ensure new features meet the needs of a regulated environment.
• Use customer research, product data, and operational insight to identify issues, prioritize opportunities, and measure results.
• Write clear product requirements, align cross-functional stakeholders, and lead delivery from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Help set longer-term product direction while moving quickly on near-term customer and business needs.
