Job summary

Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Payment Operations team. The role focuses on evaluating processes for accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting product and vendor implementations to enhance member service.

We offer employer-paid premiums, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, and opportunities for advancement. This full-time position is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, with a schedule Monday through Friday and occasional Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ACH or relevant professional industry certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all areas within Payment Operations for accuracy and compliance to understand processes, productivity, and ensure compliance and security measures are followed.
• Ensure all daily and monthly reporting is completed and available in the shared drive timely.
• Assist with research and implementation of products and services; stay current on changes with products and vendors.
• Assist in reviewing contracts and amendments of vendors; stay up to date on progress of new products and features.
• Periodically evaluate third-party vendors for cost and assist in decisions on future options.
• Test new products and methods to ensure they enhance member experience.
• Assist in training staff and members in all products and features.
• Oversee upgrades or changes within the Federal Reserve and applicable Clearing houses.
• Focus on effective and efficient product enhancements.
• Assist in developing, applying, and evaluating policies for Payment Operations.
• Assist with establishing goals, objectives, benchmarks, accountability, standards, and rewards.
• Demonstrate dependability and commitment to quality and flexibility to meet department and Credit Union goals.
