Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Payments Governance Operations Manager to lead a center of excellence in governance and third‑party oversight. You will shape scalable strategies, strengthen risk identification, and translate regulatory and network requirements into decisive actions.

You will drive modernization of the oversight function, manage a high‑performing team, and partner with product, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to embed governance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in payments, merchant acquiring, financial services, third‑party risk, governance or regulated environments.
• Experience leading complex cross‑functional programs from strategy through implementation, with governance and change management.
• Ability to evaluate risk and control effectiveness, identify emerging risk themes, and drive escalation/remediation.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for payments governance across products, regions, and regulatory environments.
• Lead and develop a multi-level team with clear priorities and succession planning.
• Provide subject matter expertise on payments risk, network rules, and regulatory requirements.
