Job summary

S&A Legal Management Services, Inc. in Plano, Texas is seeking a detail‑oriented Payment Processing Clerk to support the accounting team by timely opening and posting payment mail and ensuring accurate posting to consumer accounts.

This role is essential to maintain cash flow, data integrity, and customer trust within a fast‑paced, high‑volume office. Responsibilities include sorting mail, posting payments, entering data into our proprietary software, assisting with daily post office and bank

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently with high attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
• Minimum of two years' general office experience, high-volume data entry preferred.
• Minimum of two years' cash handling or bank teller experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage.
• Familiarity with NetSuite preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point; ability to operate basic office equipment; proficient with internet research.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it.
• Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies.

Responsibilities

• Open and sort company payment mail and post payments to consumer accounts.
• Process documents into proprietary company software system.
• Assist with daily post office and bank visits.
• Assist with various payment and client related tasks.
• Assist with department projects as assigned by the accounting manager.
