Job summary

Aligned Data Centers in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support revenue and accounts receivable processes. The role requires independence, high accuracy, and sound judgment for invoice processing and reconciliations.

This position also offers growth within a dynamic finance team. You will handle payment approvals, AP runs and ad hoc payments, maintain payment files, respond to inquiries, generate reports, assist monthly closings, and participate in process

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent with 3–5 years related experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong Excel; Oracle experience preferred.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.
• Acute attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prepare ad hoc reports and business correspondence on short notice.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to work independently.
• Ability to decide on payables/receivables with appropriate escalation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with departments to secure payment approvals.
• Prepare accounts payable payment runs and ad hoc payments.
• Oversee maintenance of payment files and records.
• Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding payments and check requests; resolve discrepancies.
• Make recommendations for process improvement and efficiencies.
• Prepare and review corresponding reporting.
• Maintain current reconciliation status for all cash and disbursement accounts.
• Prepare processing notices as required.
• Prepare analysis of accounts as required.
• Assist with monthly closings.
• Assist with related special projects as required.
