Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia in Sunrise, FL seeks a Payment Posting Specialist. The role reports to the Sr. Manager of Revenue Cycle Services and requires advanced posting knowledge, EOB interpretation, accurate daily posting, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in payment posting, accounts receivable, billing, or cash application.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to research and resolve payment and account discrepancies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments received via checks, ACH, EFT, credit cards, lockbox, and other methods.
• Apply payments, adjustments, credits, refunds, and contractual allowances to accounts.
• Review remittance information and supporting docs for accurate processing.
• Research and resolve unapplied payments, overpayments, underpayments, and posting discrepancies.
• Reconcile daily payment activity to bank deposits and system totals.
• Maintain records of posting and reconciliation activities with accuracy.
• Coordinate with AR, Billing, and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Process account adjustments and corrections per policy and authorization.
• Assist with month-end and year-end reconciliation tasks.
